Allan Meers was a minor character used by Lowri in World 2: Reflections. He was the biological father of Ella Meers and was accidentally killed by his daughter. He possessed the abilities of Immutability, Temporal Immunity and Shield Absorption.
Appearance[]
Allan had a much more tanned skin tone than his wife and daughter, though he too was tall and slim. He had light brown hair and dark brown eyes, and a slight amount of stubble. He tended to dress casually when he could, which was rarely since Shelley said it made him appear scruffy.
Abilities[]
One's appearance can't be changed
Allan's first ability, and his most powerful one, was Immutability. It meant that no abilities could cause drastic physical change in him. His appearance, body and genetics couldn't be changed, and he couldn't be forced into doing something he didn't want to. He also wouldn't be affected by any reality-bending abilities. Mental and emotional manipulation would only work on him if it was subtle enough not to trigger this ability. However, he could still be affected normally by any energy-based ability, and by any threat which wasn't an ability.
Not frozen in time
His second ability was Temporal Immunity. This made it impossible for any to freeze him in time, reverse him in time or take him through time, and made him aware of any occasion when a timeline would be changed by any time manipulator. It also made him immune to all age-manipulating abilities, and prevented him from ageing physically.
Absorbing a forcefield
His third ability was Shield Absorption. This enabled him to absorb shields, forcefields and the effects of any defensive abilities. It would neutralise them completely. He hadn't learned to control this ability before his death, and so he would absorb and negate any attempts to use shielding or a forcefield to protect him and Shelley. He could have learned eventually to control this automatic absorption, and absorb only at will, even targeting specifically. However, he died before this was possible.

Allan had grown up in Westchester and lived there all his life, even remaining in the area when he was in college and simply commuting into the city to attend NYU. He met Shelley when she was 24 and he 27, and they were married 5 years afterwards. Then, they bought a house together again in Westchester. They had one child, a daughter named Ella. It is unknown exactly when Allan manifested each of his abilities, but he'd gained all 3 before his death. He and Shelley were both killed when Ella lost control of her newly manifested nova induction. Their bodies were too badly damaged to be revived, and their own abilities made other attempts to save them fail. Ella was left an orphan and a ward of the state, until she was adopted by Claire Bennet and Gretchen Berg.
