Nymphs are a magical species which have control over their natural surroundings. Nymphs are creatures that look after their environment and are sustained by their environment also.
Origin[]
Throughout history, nymphs are known as beautiful women who enhance nature. It is unknown how nymphs originally came to be in existence. Nymphs are brought up by their mothers and often mate with male humans and run away with the child. The Nymph gene is more dominant and and thus the child will turn out to be a girl and be a nymph, unless the father isn't human but belongs to a male-dominant species. There are various types of nymphs that can exist, which also seem to be hereditary. These are:
- Celestrial nymphs
- Land nymphs
- Wood nymphs
- Water nymphs
- Underworld nymphs
It seems that Nymphs need to be around their natural environment or else they start to feel withdrawal symptoms. This is probably their greatest weakness, since if they are seperated from their environment for too long they are at their weakest, and could eventually die. As a tradition, nymphs are named after an element, creature, being or plant that represents their species.
Appearance[]
Nymphs are generalised as being beautiful yet having a striking appearance. Nymphs tend to appear as humans so that they can blend into society however some nymphs, such as celestrial nymphs have physical differences like having wings.
Nymph Gifts[]

All nymphs hold control and manipulation over their environment. This means that celestrial nymphs can have control over the air, land nymphs have control over the land, wood nymphs have control over the woods and flowers, water nymphs have control over water and underworld nymphs have control over fire. Every nymph will possess these gifts and learn to control them. Nymphs will also have intuitive knowledge about their surroundings, such as wood nymphs will know a lot about flowers and which one's are edible or not. It is sometimes possible for a nymph to gain an extra gift or an enhancement of themselves that can be thought of as a gift. These can vary depending on the nymph's personality.
